Latisse for Natural Lashes. At The Premier Cosmetic Clinic & Medical Spa of the Kitchener Waterloo Region.

Botox Dermal Filler Model with lip augmentation

Latisse: for beautiful, naturally appearing eye lashes.

Why Latisse?:

Easy daily application, lashes look more natural. Doesn’t require office visits to apply (a great alternative to extensions). Lashes grow naturally over time. Experience darker, thicker, and fuller looking lashes. Just what the Doctor ordered. Latisse is used to treat inadequate eyelashes and works by increasing the growth of eyelashes by increasing length, thickness, and darkness.

For the Best Latisse Results:

Apply daily as directed. You will see results in 10 weeks, with full results in 16 weeks. Continue daily thereafter to maintain lashes. Apply to clean skin with no makeup. Remove contact lenses before applying. 80% of patients using Latisse see significant improvement in their eyelash prominence.

The recommended dosage is to apply one drop to the disposable applicator, applied once daily at night to the upper eyelid margin of each eye. This medication should not be applied more than once daily, it will not increase the growth of the eyelashes by applying twice.

Avoid allowing the applicator to touch the fingers or any other surface because this could contaminate the tip with common bacteria known to cause eye infections. Use only the disposable applicator that comes with the solution. Do not apply this medication to the lower eyelash line.

How Latisse Works:

Use Latisse daily to the base of your upper eyelashes for 16 weeks. This treatment will increase the length of your lash growth and the number of hairs that grow. For best results, use for 16 weeks, but you will notice the growth within 10-12 weeks. The more you use Latisse, the more it will grow. However, once you stop using Latisse the effects will also stop.

What To Expect with Latisse:

When used as recommended, Latisse can enhance your lashes and provide you with noticeable results such as thicker, longer lashes. The first enhancement you will notice is lash length, followed by an increase in thickness. Results are gradual but you will be able to see the results within 10-12 weeks, with best results occurring after 16 weeks of daily use of the product.

To achieve the best results, you will want to apply Latisse to clean, dry lashes, with the appropriate applicators that are provided with the serum. Once you discontinue this treatment, your eyelashes will stop enhancing and will return to your original appearance once the natural growth cycle takes place.

Latisse is a great way to not have to use Strip Lashes or get Lash Extensions if you do not want the maintenance.

Precautions and Warnings:

It is important to not allow the tip of the bottle to have contact with the eye or any other surface so as to avoid contamination. Use a fresh applicator with each application of the medication.

People with certain eye conditions should discuss with their doctor before using this solution to there are no effects due to the medical condition. If you develop an eye infection, reaction or pain contact your doctor immediately.

Increased hair growth can occur in areas where this medication comes in repeated contact with. It’s important to apply this medication only to the indicated portion of the upper eyelid and carefully blot any excess medication from the eyelid margin.

This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks. If you become pregnant while using this medication, contact your doctor. It is not known if Latisse can pass into breast milk. If you are a breast-feeding mother and are using this medication, it may affect your baby. Talk to your doctor about whether you should continue breast-feeding.

Keep Latisse out of use of children.

Latisse Vs Lash Extensions:

There is no “best” treatment. Lash extensions, and Latisse are both great options. Your treatment choice depends on your goals, lifestyle, and preferences. Latisse is an easy to apply treatment that can be done from the comfort of your home, and doesn’t require any office visits. The downside is it does take some time to see the results, wheras lash extensions are an “instant” result. Either way we have got you covered here at Kitchener Waterloo Cosmetic Clinic. If Latisse doesn’t sound like the right choice for you, our Lash Artist Raeesa is an Expert in Lash Extensions, Lifts, and Tints!
